Hey ya'll! So sorry I have been pretty M.I.A. recently, it's been quite a crazy summer for me.... For those of you who don't know my father was diagnosed with brain cancer last November and gone through, brain surgery as well as chemo and radiation. It was quite the struggle for us all but he made a miraculous recovery and was back at work like nothing ever happened in no time! Unfortunately things took, what seemed like a rapid turn for the worst the end of June, however he is slowly but surely improving and getting stronger daily. My mother and I have been doing a lot of research on nutrition and foods that heal and how our body was designed to heal itself and I attribute a lot of his progress to natural foods as well as nothing short of many prayers and little miracles from God. This being said please keep him and my family in your prayers!
So I've been pretty tied up helping take care of him (which is a lot more work than you can ever imagine) and trying to work to make ends meet, as well as be there for my clients who I love so dearly! Although competition has taken a back burner these days, it's still on the burner! With everything going on I realized it helps me to keep my focus, be a distraction from all the negativity, stay committed to training which make me feel better by releasing positive endorphins, as well as make sure I don't indulge in all this wonderful food everyone brings over (which is probably the hardest part but I do give myself a cheat meal every week) So, with all that being said I am competing in the Fitness America Pageant-Carolina Show this weekend! Feeling pretty good overall and ready to have some fun this weekend! I'll be updating my facebook fan page, so if you wanna keep up check there and I'll try to keep ya'll updated on here as well! Thanks so much everyone for all of your love and support!
