WOW! What an awesome weekend! We all know how much I just love shows, even if I'm not competing in them. This weekend I had the pleasure to do trophies with Gretchen Coley at the NPC Mid-Atlantic Classic presented by Main Stage Muscle. Can't say enough about these guys, Dar and Kevin put another wonderful show with great competitors, great staff, great sponsors, great goodie bags, great hardware and still had the show still ran smooth at a great venue!! (Very proud of myself for not even getting started with all of the samples lol) Make sure to check em out at www.mainstagemuscle.com for photos as well as info about the summer show (Victory in the Valley and fall show (Mid-Atlantic Classic) next year! Also check out the Silverback Krew facebook page to see the video of Adam Weidel guest posing... it was QUITE a show in its self!

"Life is just to short so just live it... Love is just so rare so hold it... Fear only holds you back so just face it... Anger only hurts you so just forget it... Memories are priceless that so just cherish them... Time will never rewind never hold still or even skip ahead so live every moment not as your first, not as your last but only as your best because it very well may be..." ~Me
Well better late than never they say....
We'll ya'll here's what I've been up to... August 6th I competed in the Fitness America Carolinas Show and placed 2nd. Not very happy about it, but I was up against some tough competition (still waiting on official scores but apparently it was close)... Anyway, I had a lot of fun, did the best I could and had a wonderful team (Savage Girls) backing me and great friends to support me which is better than any trophy! So on to the next one!
It kills me to say but my father (and best friend) passed away August 29th 2011, so I've decided to pull out of the Fitness America Dixie Showdown I was planning on doing Oct 2nd in Atlanta. So focus on my current clients and building my clientele back up. Ok, fine, all the cookies, pies and breads everyone brought over didn't really help either...
After a week of eating processed high sugar, high carb and high fat foods (hey it would be rude not too) I remember why I eat clean year round instead of just in "contest prep;" my tummy can't take it!!!! Plus I can't take being so tired and icky feeling... So back to my grilled chicken for me! Plus Fitness America (the big Mac Daddy) is Nov 18th in Vegas... and I've never really been to Vegas.... ;)
